Everyone at Troon Football Club were delighted to welcome back some of our club legends from the late 1990s to our match against Beith Juniors on Saturday 9th August.

Our Vice-Chairman John Redmond, who was the Manager during this period, welcomed many of his former charges to Portland Park to recognise their contributions to the club in a hugely successful era for the club, and many of our older supporters turned out to enjoy their company.

Pictured above (left to right): John “Hoots” Harvey, Martin Baxter, John Redmond (former Manager), Scott Thompson, Billy Hunter (former President), Colin Yair, Stevie McIntyre & Albert Morrison. Kenny Wilson, Brian McLuckie & Scott Byrnes (former Treasurer) were missing for this picture.

Fantastic to welcome them back to Portland Park, and keep your eyes peeled for future events with our former players!
