Matchday information for supporters with a disability…
Troon Football Club fully supports the principle of equal opportunities and opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of disability.
The matchday experience is important to everyone. We appreciate that disabilities are wide-ranging, and that not all disabilities are visible.
It is our aim to ensure inclusivity and understanding for all.
Ticketing
The club offers a concessionary price specifically for wheelchair using supporters.
The club has hard-standing positions for wheelchair supporters, if required. These are pitch side beside the players tunnel, in front of the clubhouse.
Visually Impaired Supporters (Home & Visiting)
Visually impaired supporters are very welcome at Portland Park, and special provisions can be made for you if you contact the club in advance.
The club strongly recommends that each visually impaired person attending a match should be accompanied by a person who is fully able to support their needs in the event of an emergency.
Guide Dogs
Guide Dogs are allowed into the ground, but we would recommend that supporters with Guide Dogs contact the club before the match so that we can discuss with them access to the ground, facilities inside the ground and the welfare of the Guide Dog before, during and after the match.
Car Parking Facilities
Troon F.C. have provision for disabled parking for supporters, which are allocated to disabled people with the most severe mobility difficulties. Please contact the club in advance to reserve these.
We would ask that people recognise that there is a limited number of places available and, depending on demand, it may not be possible to accommodate everyone who has a Blue Badge.
Catering Facilities
Match day catering for all our supporters is provided by our catering partners SCRAN.
The serving area at SCRAN is at an ideal height for wheelchair using supporters, but our Disability Access Officer would be happy to assist in getting refreshments, as we’re sure your personal assistant would as well.
Other facilities which come under the general heading of catering such as our “Legend’s Lounge” Hospitality Suite, are accessible to supporters with a disability.
Accessible Toilets
There is an accessible toilet in the clubhouse, which is signposted from outside the ground.
Sensory Bags
We are delighted to have a sensory bag available on matchdays, located beside the turnstile as you enter the ground. Supporters are welcome to use the sensory bag at matches, but please remember to return it for another supporter to use at our next match.

Troon F.C. openly welcomes comments on this information and would encourage any person to contact the club with their comments or queries.
