Previous Troon-based teams from the pre-war period played in plain blue, red or black, but when Troon Juniors were founded in 1946 they wore an Arsenal-style red bodied strip with white collar and sleeves, white shorts and socks with red trim.

Blue and black stripes became the main jersey colours in the mid-nineties and have remained ever since, although red has frequently been utilised as a change strip in homage to the original strips.
