Ryan Stevenson has this week decided to move on from the club.

“Stevo” initially signed for Troon in November of 2018 after a spell out of the game, and he said the move gave him “his love of football back” thanks to the club’s Manager Jimmy Kirkwood. The move proved a fruitful one for Stevenson, as he netted 26 times in 50 appearances and quickly proved to be a fulcrum of the side.

Ryan only joined us again in the summer from Albion Rovers for his third spell at Portland Park, but with Ryan having family and work priorities outside of football, he has decided to take a step back just now to concentrate on those for the time being. And he steps away with our very best wishes, and will always be welcome back at Portland Park in the future.
