Troon Football Club held our Player of the Year 2025-26 awards night at the club on Saturday night.
What a season it has been so far at Troon Football Club!
- First, we secured our status as a Scottish FA Licensed Club in March, which made us eligible for promotion at the end of the season and will see us take part in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup for the first time ever next season.
- The key target for the season of promotion to the Lowland League West for 2026/27 was confirmed with six matches to spare, which will see us compete at the fifth tier of Scottish football for the first time in the club’s 80 year history.
- Secured a club record highest league finish, after guaranteeing a top 3 finish in the WOSFL Premier Division this season.
- And then came Sunday 3rd May, as we reached our first Cup Final since 2016 and lifted the first piece of silverware since 2014, defeating Auchinleck Talbot 1-0 at Broadwood to lift the West of Scotland Cup.
All round, a season to be EXTREMELY proud of!

DEVELOPMENT TEAM GOLDEN BOOT FOR TOP SCORER 2025-26
WINNER: KIERAN LOGAN
The first award of the night was probably the worst kept secret of them all, considering another superb season for Kieran! For the Development Team, the Top Goalscorer Award for 2025-26.
The top three were as follows:
- Kieran Logan (40 goals)
- Clayton Hood (16 goals)
- Shaun Donnelly / Ryan Hamilton (14 goals)

DEVELOPMENT TEAM MANAGER’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2025-26
WINNER: CLAYTON HOOD
Club Secretary Richard Henderson has been a constant in his support for the Development Team ever since it’s formation, and it was he who presented the next award of the night for the Development Team; the Manager’s Player of the Year Award for 2025-26.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM PLAYER’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2025-26
WINNER: RYAN HAMILTON
First Team Coach Johnny Sinclair presented the final award of the night for the Development Team, the Player’s Player of the Year Award for 2025-26.
The top three were as follows:
- Ryan Hamilton (30% of the vote)
- Adam McNally (24% of the vote)
- Shaun Donnelly / Clayton Hood (18% of the vote)

GOLDEN BOOT FOR TOP SCORER 2025-26
WINNER: LEWIS LOVERING
The first award of the night for the first team was the Top Goalscorer Award for 2025-26.
The top three were as follows:
- Lewis Lovering (15 goals, 11 league)
- Kyle Gilroy (15 goals, 10 league)
- Dario Viviani (10 goals)

COMMITTEE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2025-26
WINNER: STEPHEN BRONSKY
Chairman Jim Kirkwood presented the next trophy of the evening, the Committee Player of the Year 2025-26.
The top three were as follows:
- Stephen Bronsky (36% of the votes)
- Nathan Baird (27% of the votes)
- Calum Gow (18% of the votes)

Scott Byrnes presented the third award of the night, on behalf of the supporters.
The Supporter’s Player of the Year Award 2025-26 went to Calum Gow.

Supporter Jim McLoughlin presented Dale with a trophy on behalf of all the supporters, in recognition of his efforts during his five years of service. Dale departs this summer to move to a club closer to home, and he leaves with our best wishes!
YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2025-26
WINNER: DARIO VIVIANI
Coach Marty Fraser presented the next trophy of the evening, the Young Player of the Year 2025-26.
A massive award for our club, as we have always promoted young players and created a pathway for them to the first team.
The top two were as follows:
- Dario Viviani (54% of the votes)
- Leyton Dunlop (21% of the votes)
- Jack Allan (16% of the votes)

PLAYER’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2025-26
WINNER: CALUM GOW
Head Coach Andy Bell presented the next award of the evening, the Player’s Player of the Year 2025-26.
After a secret ballot of all our First Team players, they returned a decisive vote as their Player’s Player of the Year.
The top three were as follows:
- Calum Gow (45% of the votes)
- Stephen Bronsky (13% of the votes)
- Lewis Lovering (13% of the votes)
