Troon are delighted to announce the signing of forward Ben Armour from Brechin City.

The 28 year old began his career spending four seasons in the youth academy at Queens Park, before he went into full-time football at Greenock Morton in 2016 as an 18 year old. He spent 3 seasons at Cappielow before he moved north to Peterhead, spending two seasons and making 41 league appearances in League Two. He was signed by Alloa for season 2021-22 before he headed to Forfar Athletic where he finished as top scorer in 2022-23, which earned him a move to Stranraer. Another spell at Peterhead followed, and he spent last season chasing the Highland League title with Brechin City.

His ability, his touch and his experience in the SPFL were a huge attraction to Manager Jimmy Kirkwood, and we look forward to seeing what Ben can do in the blue & black.

Welcome to Portland Park, Ben!
