Troon midfielder Dale Moore has been made available for transfer at his own request, and the club are inviting offers.
The 32 year old midfielder, who began his career with Glenafton Boys Club, spent six seasons at Portland Park earlier in his career after signing from Ayr United. He joined an ADL side as a teenager at the start of Jimmy Kirkwood’s reign at Troon, and he was a key player as we rose from the regional leagues with promotion to the Super Leagues, then won the Ayrshire Cup & Super First with a record points total in 2013/14.
Following our relegation to the Super First in 2017, Dale moved on & joined Glenafton Athletic following their treble winning season & enjoyed their senior Scottish Cup run, culminating in an away match at Livingston. He joined Glasgow side St. Cadoc’s along with a number of his Glenafton team-mates in 2020, before he returned to Portland Park in January 2022. Since his return, he has been a vital component of Jimmy Kirkwood’s team, often leading the side as Captain.
