We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Dale Burgess has put pen to paper on a new deal with the club.

The 29 year old has been a solid last line of defence for the Seasiders since joining Troon from Beith in May 2022 chalking up 60 appearances in that time.

The big goalkeeper began his career as a youth at Renfrew Victoria Boys Club, before making the move to Junior football with Dalry Thistle. He signed for his local side Renfrew in the summer of 2014 and spent five successful seasons at New Western Park.

Dale signed for Stranraer in June 2019 before he then joined Beith in the summer of 2020.

We are absolutely delighted he is continuing his stay at Portland Park.
