Supporter’s Day

Troon will throw open the doors of Portland Park on Saturday 14th March for an official “Supporter’s Day” at the club, where everything in the future of the club will be discussed in an open forum with committee members, management, players & supporters.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Saturday…

SUPPORTERS MEETING / OPEN FORUM

It’s exciting times in Scottish Non-League Football, and progress is high on the agenda for most Junior teams.

All of our supporters, academy members, parents & players are invited to come along & hear our plans for the future. And we need to hear from YOU on how you want to see us progress, so feedback is encouraged.

Our “top table” of club officials will include:

  • Jim Kirkwood (Chairman)
  • Billy Inglis (Vice Chairman)
  • Richard Henderson (Club Secretary)
  • Jimmy Kirkwood (Manager)

PYRAMID FOCUS / PRESENTATION

“Pyramid” is the word on everyone’s lips at this level, so we thought we would address it properly in an open forum with our supporters.

All the information we have to hand will be presented to supporters, and discussed on it’s impact on Troon F.C.

MANAGEMENT Q&A

Is there anything you would like to ask the Management team? Now is your opportunity!

  • Jimmy Kirkwood (Manager)
  • Dean Keenan (Assistant Manager)
  • Andy Smyth (Coach)
  • Marty Fraser (Goalkeeping Coach)

Our management team will be on hand to discuss the season to date, as well as the plans for the future.

CLUB IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE

Since the Kirkwood family first got involved with the club in 2010, one of the most notable changes has been in the infrastructure off the pitch. Investment in facilities has always been a constant, and with all the changes coming up in our level of football, there are more exciting developments coming up!

Chairman Jim Kirkwood will take us through a presentation of planned improvements and likely timescales.

YOUTH ACADEMY UPDATE

Our Head of Youth Jamie McCulloch will be on hand to discuss how our ever-growing Youth Academy is developing, and the exciting plans for the future.

FRIENDLY MATCH

The planned friendly match against Carluke Rovers has been postponed, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus which has seen all football cancelled for the foreseeable future.
