Troon are delighted to announce the loan signing of Dario Viviani from Championship side Ayr United.
The 19 year old attacker is a highly rated member of the Ayr United Youth Academy (and no wonder, after scoring this beauty below for the U18s a couple of years ago!), as well as a regular feature in their Reserve side.
The Ayrshire lad, who began his career at Crosshouse before joining Ayr in 2017 at the age of 12, played a starring role in Dean Keenan’s Testimonial match against Ayr United last July and has been on our radar ever since. Following a loan spell at Lowland League Gretna alongside fellow Ayr player Carter Jenkins and a brief stint at Glenafton, we are delighted to add him to the squad for the league run-in.
Thanks go to Ayr United MD Graeme Mathie & Nick Provan for their professional assistance in this transfer, and for helping process it so quickly.
Dario will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s match away to Irvine Meadow XI.
Welcome to Portland Park, Dario!
