Troon are delighted to announce the signing of Blair Richardson following the expiry of his contract at East Kilbride.

The 22 year old enjoyed a spell on loan last season at Portland Park, and following the revolution at K-Park that has seen all but one player kept on from last season he is delighted to be returning to the seaside.

The centre-back is a product of the St. Mirren Youth Academy before joining the K-Park Youth system. Having graduated out of Martin Fellowes’ Development Team last summer, and after a spell with Kevin Rutkiewicz’s first team, he spent a few months on loan at Johnstone Burgh earlier last season to ready him for first-team football.

Blair will feature in the squad which faces Stewarton United at Portland Park in our first pre-season friendly of the season tonight.

Welcome to Portland Park, Blair!
