We are delighted to learn that our Head of Academy Justin Brown has been named “South Ayrshire Volunteer of the Year” at this years South Ayrshire Sports Awards.

At tonight’s awards night at Troon Concert Hall, Justin was presented his award from Leader of the Council Martin Dowey in front of his justifiably proud wife Caroline.

The South Ayrshire Sports Awards celebrate those who make a positive impact to the sporting communities across South Ayrshire. The “Volunteer of the Year” award that Justin won recognises and highlights the fantastic work done in the community to facilitate & support the endeavours of our youngsters, those who continue to go above and beyond to help make sport and physical activity accessible to all.

Justin invests a considerable amount of his own time to help all of our Youth Academy teams, even taking a number of sessions to help out our many fantastic coaches as well as opening a club shop to sell Troon F.C. merchandise & club badged apparel to raise extra funds for the academy.

With our new astroturf facility now open, Justin has embraced the new opportunity & has got even more kids in the community involved in football & sport.
