After the postponement of all professional football, as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II last week, we can provide an update on our fixtures.

First Team Fixtures

Saturday’s South Region Challenge Cup match with Forth Wanderers, which was postponed on Friday, has now been rescheduled for Saturday 15th October at Portland Park.

This morning, the SFA & SPFL announced that the professional game is to resume this week & this weekend, although no matches are to be held next Monday on the day of the Royal funeral.

Therefore, this Saturday’s match away to Glenafton Athletic is expected to take place, pending any intervention from the WOSFL.

This week, as a mark of respect and in keeping with the period of National Mourning, clubs may wish to hold a period of silence and/or play the National Anthem just ahead of kick-off.
