Today’s Scottish Communities Cup match against Drumchapel United has been cancelled, and Troon will progress to the 3rd round draw.

Unfortunately, Drumchapel have experienced the withdrawal of a main sponsor this week which has obviously caused repercussions and they found themselves in the situation where they were unable to field a team to play the match. As a result, they have unfortunately forfeited the tie and have withdrawn from this season’s competition.

Naturally disappointing not to see the tie go ahead, but we wish our counterparts at Drumchapel all the very best going forward in what is undoubtedly a difficult time for them as they restructure to move forward.
