Young midfielder Rocco Devenny has moved on from the club and joined Ayr United.

The 18 year old midfielder, began his career at Kilmarnock where he spent 7 years in their youth academy before being released in April 2023. He joined Hamilton Academical in September before his registration was terminated in June 2024, and after a short spell with Spartans he joined Troon’s Development Team in September & was a big part of Tony Murphy’s squad who went on to lift the WOSFDL Conference E title at the end of the season.

Rocco made 4 competitive appearances in the first team in that period of time, as well as being a permanent fixture in the first team squad this pre-season as Manager Jimmy Kirkwood looked to integrate him gradually. This opportunity has arisen during pre-season, and it’s a great opportunity for Rocco to take his place in the Under 19 team within the Ayr United Youth Football Academy.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Rocco all the very best for the future!
