Forward Grant Brennan has moved on from the club, after more than a year at Portland Park.

The 27 year old attacker began his career in the ranks of Queens Park (alongside our own Jaime Gallagher) before signing for Airdrieonians in 2017. He moved on to Stirling Albion in 2019 where he spent a couple of season in the SPFL 2nd Division, as well as a loan spell at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, before moving on to join John Gibson’s Blantyre Victoria post-COVID in 2021.

A fantastic start to his career in the WOSFL saw him quickly snapped up by Paul Lovering at Benburb, before Cambuslang Rangers swooped to snap up the exciting front man. He proceeded to play a starring role in our own encounter at Somervell Park last April, scoring a long-range beauty & being a constant threat throughout the match. Following the end of his contract, he moved to Meadow Park before moving to Portland Park in March 2024.

He moved out on loan to Thorniewood in early March & is now moving on in search of pastures new following the expiry of his contract. If any club wishes Grant’s contact details, please get in touch and we will happily pass them on.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Grant all the very best for the future!
