The closing date for applications to the new “West of Scotland Football League” passed last night, and it has been confirmed that a whopping 68 teams have applied for the new set-up.

All 63 West Region Junior teams have applied and, as previously agreed, will be accepted. For the remaining five applicants, Bonnyton Thistle & Drumchapel Amateurs have confirmed their applications, as well as confirmed interest from Glasgow University. The other two applicants are, as yet, un-named.
