Our Development Team Head Coach Tony Murphy has been appointed Manager of WOSFL Second Division side Maybole.

One of our most decorated players in recent times at Troon, Tony was initially appointed as Assistant to Stevie McCreadie in February 2023 before he took over as Head Coach following Stevie’s departure.

He was instrumental in the progress of our Development Team, culminating in them being crowned Champions of the WOSFL Development League Conference E in season 2024-25.

Tony moves to take over at Ladywell Stadium with another of his former clubs, and following him will be Assistant Head Coach Steven McNally and Coach Ross Armour.

We’d like to wish Tony, Minty & Ross all the very best, and look forward to watching their continued development from afar!

FUTURE PLANS

Our current First Team Management Team plan to look after the Development Team for the remainder of this season, which is a great opportunity for our talented young squad to get exposure to first team football & training, before our future plans will be announced ahead of next season’s entry into the Lowland Development League for season 2026-27.
