The Troon F.C. social club plays host to our Speaker’s Brunch on Sunday 3rd November, our very own John Redmond the compere with Northern Ireland Assistant Manager Jimmy Nicholl and comedian Billy Kirkwood as our guest speakers.

Doors open at 12pm ahead of a 12.30pm start, when a 2 course meal, courtesy of Taj Bar & Kitchen, will be served before the speakers take the floor.

BILLY KIRKWOOD

Billy Kirkwood is a touring stand-up comedian, host & presenter from Ayrshire who brings a unique diversity that he balances with a wild and energetic onstage persona. His quick wit, off-the-cuff antics, playful conversation and fast paced crowd work has earned him spots on some of the best stages in the world.

He is known locally from his spell as host of the West FM Breakfast show, and more nationally as the host of Insane Championship Wrestling.

He is just back from working in the States & is preparing to embark on his Edinburgh Fringe show “Wild Thing“

JIMMY NICHOLL

Jimmy Nicholl is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played for several clubs, including Manchester United and Rangers. He was mainly a right-back but could also play in other defensive roles. Nicholl won a total of 73 international caps for Northern Ireland, scoring one goal.

After retiring as a player, he moved into coaching and management. He enjoyed success as manager of Raith Rovers, winning the 1994–95 Scottish League Cup. In recent years he has worked as an assistant coach for several Scottish clubs, including Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hibernian, Falkirk, Rangers and Dundee.

Perry & his team will be serving up a delicious two-course meal with a selection of curries and accompaniments.
