Social Club open for the Euro’s!

Everyone’s got Euro fever this summer – and we’re no different!

We are delighted to say that our social club & beer garden will be open regularly throughout the tournament, starting with the opening game tomorrow night (Friday 11th June 2021) and throughout the competition.

We have our big screen projector, the big TV in the bar & we have also got a screen outside in the beer garden as well, so plenty of space for everyone to spread out & enjoy Scotland’s inevitable run to the final…

In the “new normal” that we’re all getting used to, we have socially distanced spacing inside the social club & outside in the beer garden with a one-way system and hand sanitiser stations throughout to ensure everyone stays as safe as possible.

Out in the beer garden, we have invested in new garden furniture, courtesy of The Tattie Shack Troon & The Original Factory Shop Troon and with an extension of our previous licensing, we can’t wait to welcome our supporters, neighbours and friends back into the club again!

We also have venue specific Test & Protect “Check In Scotland” posters on every table throughout the premises to make it as easy as possible for you to keep within the Scottish Government regulations around social gatherings.

It’s not a designated Fan Zone – but it’s the next best thing!!

LICENSING RULES & RESTRICTIONS WHEN THE BAR OPENS

As we re-open, we have to follow the careful guidance provided by the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, South Ayrshire Licensing and Environmental Health departments. We may not all like the new restrictions, but they are designed to keep us all safe & will allow us to get back to a semblance of normality again.

  • Guidance now states that anyone from different households must stay 1m away from each other.
  • Each household must maintain a one metre social distance from the other household (you don’t need to distance if you are from the same household.)
  • Patrons in the Social Club & Beer Garden must remain seated during their visit, unless going to the toilet.
  • Please be aware that the Police may request proof of address & ID.
  • We can accommodate the following size of parties at our tables:
    • 2 from 2 households
    • 3 from 2 or 3 households
    • 4 from up to 3 households
  • Everyone 16 years and over must complete Test and Protect information and proof of address may be requested (Please do not be offended – we are just following the rules to keep everyone safe.)
  • A one-way system will be in place in the clubhouse for entrance & visiting the toilets.

We are very excited to welcome you all back in to the Social Club & into the Beer Garden, but we must do this in a safe way and adhere to all the rules in order to stay open. Your understanding will be very much appreciated.

And not for the last time this June – ‘MON SCOTLAND!!!
