137 YEARS OF HISTORY

Scottish Junior FA Chief Operating Officer Alex McDowall has breathed new life into the 137 year old competition, with some ambitious plans for the future, and in terms of prestige it is back up there as the one to win.

With a showpiece final screened live on national TV, and the biggest prize fund outside of the SPFL, there is just a special feel to “Scottish Junior Cup Day” which is yet to be replicated by any other.

Cumnock are the defending Champions, after defeating Rutherglen Glencairn with a last gasp winner live on BBC in last year’s final at Broadwood in front of a crowd of 4241.
