Troon are delighted to announce the signing of Michael Aitken on loan from Livingston until the end of the season.

The 18 year old centre-back joined the Hearts Youth Academy in 2014 as a 10 year old, featuring in a strong youth team at the heart of the defence & even featuring as Captain in their Under 18 team. After departing Tynecastle last summer, he signed for Livingston and featured in their ‘B’ team in their Challenge Cup campaign at the start of the season.

With a loan spell at Dalbeattie Star under his belt earlier this season, he is ready to further develop his promising career at Portland Park in a position where we have been looking for strength in depth this season.

Welcome to the club, Michael!
