Troon are delighted to announce the loan signing of Jack Barr from SPFL Premiership side St. Mirren until the end of the season.

The 17 year old began his career with Troon’s excellent 2008s team (below) before he was spotted and signed up by St. Mirren to join their Youth Academy in 2019. He has progressed through the ranks with the Paisley side, even featuring regularly for the Scotland Under 16s and Under 17s squads.

He enjoyed a loan spell at Irvine Meadow earlier this season, and he’s looking forward to getting more minutes under his belt as he continues his development. Jack will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s Premier Division match away to Beith.
