Due to the current Covid-19 rules, there are some protocols that we have implemented to make Portland Park a safe place for football.
With supporters returning to Portland Park at long last, the club has some important information for fans who will be in attendance.
We urge supporters to re-read the code of conduct and ensure you are familiar with its contents. Click HERE to read.
The football club has worked tirelessly behind the scenes in a short space of time to ensure your visit to Portland Park will be a safe and enjoyable experience. Please support us by respecting the protocols that are in place and following the guidance given by club representatives and officials.
It will be much appreciated if you can adhere to the following:
Before you attend the game

- Please take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before leaving the house. In the event of a positive LFT, please book a PCR test and do not attend the match.
- Please arrive as early as possible to avoid congestion and late entry to the stadium.
- To avoid congestion, there is no supporter parking available at Portland Park. Instead, supporters are advised to park in nearby Gillies Street or at the car park on North Shore Road – both a very short walk from Portland Park.
- We are working with the NHS Scotland’s Test & Protect system, who will require details of all supporters attending the match. Therefore, QR codes will be on posters at the turnstiles for scanning on entry.
- If you develop COVID-19 symptoms ahead of your intended arrival at the game, you should not attend the match and should seek guidance by calling 111. Symptoms can be found HERE
Please do not attend a fixture at Portland Park if any of the following apply:
- You feel unwell or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
- You have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come into close contact with a positive case in the past 14 days
- You have been told to self-isolate, or told to quarantine having returned from a country on the UK’s quarantine list.
At the game
While we are very much delighted to be welcoming you back, we must once again remind you that things will be a little different:
- You must follow all Troon F.C. staff & official’s instructions at all times. And please remember, they don’t set the rules – they are all just trying to help you.
- Adults and persons aged 11 and over must always wear a face covering when entering through the turnstiles, visiting the toilets or inside the bar area. With the new regulations, this is now mandatory in all public areas.
- Please observe social distancing of 1 metre in all areas.
- When socialising indoors, government advice is a maximum of three households in any one group.
- Please do not congregate on passageways or block public areas.
- You must comply with the one-way systems as directed.
- Listen to all stadium announcements closely.
- You must observe social distancing at all times.
- Toilet access is limited. (Please don’t wait until half time)
- You must regularly sanitise/wash hands.
- Avoid close physical contact including handshakes, hugs and celebrations with anyone not in your extended household.
- In the event that you develop COVID-19 symptoms whilst at the stadium, please notify the nearest member of stadium staff immediately – you will be taken to a designated isolation area in the stadium.
- Finally, get behind the team and coaching staff – you need to be heard!
At the end of the match
- Please vacate the ground in a calm & organised manner, whilst observing social distancing at all times.
- If passing others, please face away from fellow supporters.
The full code of conduct can be found HERE for your reference.
We appreciate there is a lot of information to digest, but we once again call for your support in making this event the best it can possibly be.
We thank you all for your co-operation and remind you to stay safe.
