Jimmy Kirkwood is the most decorated & successful Manager of all time at Troon Football Club.

Jimmy was appointed as Assistant Manager to John Redmond in July 2010, and he took over as Manager when John stood down in March 2011.

Jimmy moved on to the club’s committee in June 2019 due to pressures of work but, after the departure of Manager Jonathan Baillie, Jimmy was asked to step into the breach by the committee until a new Manager is appointed. The team went on an impressive run from early November til the end of the season, with a points average that would have seen them finish top six across the season. Jimmy will remain as Manager with an improved coaching team around him.
