Troon goalkeeper Marc Fisher has today joined WOSFL Premier Division side Glenafton Athletic on a permanent transfer.

A product of the Kilmarnock Youth Academy, Marc is a solid goalkeeper with tremendous experience. He enjoyed a three year spell at Troon post-Covid from 2021-2024, coming to us us after four seasons at Merksworth Park after joining them from his local club Annbank United.

This was actually Marc’s third spell at Portland Park, albeit his first stint was very brief after Dalry kindly loaned him to us to help us out a goalkeeping injury crisis in 2018-19. He made a lasting impression on the coaching staff then with his safe hands & excellent distribution.
