Troon Football Club will hold our Player of the Year 2024-25 awards night for the 1st Team & the Development Team in the Portland Park Social Club on the night of Saturday 17th May 2025. Doors will open at 6.30pm ahead of a 7pm start.
We have had an excellent season this time out, headed for a strong finish in the Premier Division and with the main objective achieved – safety in the Premier Division once again, now for a club record eighth season in a row. With this confirmed well ahead of the end of the season, it allowed us to plan & prepare for next season properly.
All round, a season to be very proud of!

DEVELOPMENT TEAM (U20s)
The Development Team have enjoyed a dominant season under the tutelage of Tony Murphy, Neil Sanderson, Stuart Boyd & Steven McNally. With many of the players in their first season at this level, having stepped up from Under 17s level early & therefore playing against players 2 or 3 years older than them at times this season.
But most importantly, the progression of young players into the first team has continued, with several Youth Academy players playing in the first team in 2024-25, which we are absolutely delighted about. All of the players are signed for the Development Team for next season already and with some new additions coming in, we will be very well poised to go & kick on next season to continue the good work. The Player Pathway continues!
