Troon Football Club will hold our Player of the Year 2023-24 awards night for the First Team in the Portland Park Social Club on the night of Saturday 18th May 2024. Doors will open at 6.30pm ahead of a 7pm start.
We have had an ultimately successful season this time out, with the main objective achieved – safety in the Premier Division once again, now for a club record seventh season in a row. With this confirmed well ahead of the end of the season, it allowed us to plan & prepare for next season properly.
All round, a season to be proud of!

Our Development Team and our 2007s team are hosting a joint Player of the Year night on Saturday 1st June 2024 in the Portland Park Social Club, with a 6.30pm start.
DEVELOPMENT TEAM (U20s)
The Development Team have enjoyed a promising season under the tutelage of Tony Murphy & Alan Brown, and initially Stevie McCreadie. With many of the players in their first season at this level, having stepped up from Under 17s level early & therefore playing against players 3 or 4 years older than them at times this season.
But most importantly, the progression of young players into the first team has continued, with several Youth Academy players playing in the first team in 2023-24, which we are absolutely delighted about. Almost all of the players are signed for the Development Team for next season already and with some new additions coming in, we will be very well poised to go & kick on next season to continue the good work.

2007s TEAM (U17s)
Our Under 17 team have enjoyed their first proper season as part of the Troon Football Club Youth Academy, and they have been competing at the sharp end on all fronts under the leadership of Neil Sanderson, Stuart Boyd & Gavin Jamieson.
And again, the progression of young players has continued with our Under 17s as well, with several of their players playing in the Development Team in 2023-24 and even two of them featuring with the first team, which is just amazing! A large number of players are signed for our Development Team for next season already which is great testament to the coaches at all of our teams for their cohesive work to develop our young stars.
