We are delighted to see Portland Park being used more and more often, but in order for everyone to operate as harmoniously as possible we need to follow some guidance.
Troon Football Club, and Troon Football Club Youth Academy, now have a number of teams training at Portland Park’s new astroturf facility.
WHERE TO ENTER & EXIT THE PARK
The coaches or team helpers will open the car park gates ahead of any sessions, and this is the best place to enter & exit the ground, whether that is by car or by foot.
Any traffic via the front gates is restricted to those with additional accessibility requirements, due to a limitation of space and to allow SCRAN the courtesy of not encroaching on their business operations.
CAR PARKING
Portland Park has a very small car park which is free to use to coaches, players & parents for all training sessions. Limited street parking is also available around the ground.
Please be as considerate as possible to our neighbours when entering or exiting the ground and make sure to keep footpaths unobstructed for wheelchairs and pedestrian access.
OVERFLOW PARKING
As mentioned, space in our car park is limited, so if there are no obvious spaces then please move to one of these options below – all of which are only a few minutes walk (at the most) from the ground.
NORTH SHORE CAR PARK

Overflow parking is available in the public car park on North Shore Road (KA10 6QT) pictured above, which is an easy walk just a few minutes from the ground.
ACADEMY STREET CAR PARK

Overflow parking is also available in the public car park on Academy Street (KA10 6HR) pictured above, which is an easy walk just a few minutes from the ground.
GILLIES STREET

Limited parking is also available in the nearby Gillies Street (KA10 6QH) which is very close to the ground, although please do respect our neighbours when parking.
Please note that we do not take any responsibility for vehicles left at the ground, in public car parks or on the street.
